Wilting Not a Consideration

It’s so fantastic when the very best elements of past experiences are repeated!

This morning Greg and I had the pleasure of all the favorable elements coming together to result in a great session with Jordan.  The weather was steamy, true, but we had a soft breeze to take the edge off and Jordan never seemed to break a sweat.  She certainly knows her color palette, having chosen outfits to complement her hair, skin and eyes.  She was a soft, composed shimmer, in contrast to the shiny sparkle of the moving stream.

Although we only met today, we were so comfortable with Jordan, younger sister Taylor and their mother, Lynda.  Thank you so much for allowing us to create another special portrait experience.

You know how it is with boys.  You can joke and tease, but they dole out those smiles just a little at a time.  Mom was cajoling and Dad was willing to be the butt of jokes, but it still was the same as with most of the guys.  Anyway, we got just what we needed from Garret this Saturday.  Just take a look.

Smart and Sassy

Each session is such a special experience.  We make a connection, have fun and create beautiful images. 

This Friday we spent time with lovely Ashleigh and her mom, Cindy.  Ashleigh has varied interests and varied looks, but it all comes together in one cohesive package.  Can you imagine skiing down a frozen hillside or hurtling over obstacles on the back of a horse?  Well Ashleigh does both as an alpine racer and a hunter-jumper competitor. 

Ashley is an intelligent young lady with her eye on a career in equine studies.  We’ll remember her for her beautiful smile, her crisp elegance and the fun we had sharing an afternoon with her.  Thank you for choosing us to create your senior portraits, Ashleigh!

They grow up so fast!

One of the great things we’re able to do for families is called a “Footsteps Album” , a beautiful album that chronicles your child’s growth year after year.  One of the very special families we see several times a year has two beautiful children, Alec and Caroline.   We’ve helped preserve their stages of development (notice the gap in his teeth) and portrayed their favorite activities, such as dance, flag football and holidays, etc.

Fall Into these Eyes

Our session with Stephanie on Wednesday was so . . .comfortable, easy, exciting and fun!  We have photographed Stephanie’s two older sisters and we first met her when we photographed the family several years ago.  Two years has made a tremendous difference in her self assurance and poise–she was a real pro! 

Stephanie has a smile that can light up a room, but she was also able to show a more subtle, softer side too.  Greg worked well with her, I helped with the light, older sister, Liz helped with hair and combined with Steph’s grace and cooperation the results are outstanding.  Just take a look… If you know Stephanie’s sisters or Mom, you can see the resemblance.  But each beautiful lady in the family is her own special person and we are so glad we’ve gotten to know them.  Thank you, Stephanie, for such a wonderful session!

Little Angels

Just finished a 1st Communion session with Veronica.  How sweet and innocent they are at 7 years.  Each is like a little angel from heaven but each is also different from the others.  If only we could recapture some of that innocence ourselves. . .  

Fun for 2011

Yesterday things couldn’t have gone more perfectly for our session with our newest 2011 Senior Spokes Model Moriah.  The rain held off so we could do everything we needed to indoors and outdoors.  Moriah has all the professional moves due to her majorette experience.  She can, as her mother instructed her, “tell a story with her eyes.”  Doesn’t she look beautiful?!?
